MOVE IN PROCESS
Upon moving in, you want to connect your TV to the TV service installed in your apartment. Follow the Installation Directions to connect you TV to the set top box installed in your living room. If you want one remote to control the set top box and your TV power and volume, program the set top box remote to your TV. Be sure to keep your original TV remote in a safe place. You have access to additional services: Netflix, Paramount + with Showtime, Hallmark TV, Music Choice and DIRECTV On Demand. Connect your TV to the TV service to start watching your favorite programs. You can connect the AEP set top box remote to your TV to control your TV power & volume with one remote.

You will have the option in recording a single program or a show series. Once you purchase a DVR, you will receive a set top box and a new remote control.

Service upgrade instructions
Once you’ve decided to upgrade and move forward with a DIRECTV package or DVR, fill out the Service Upgrade form.
Once you submit the Service Upgrade form, we will contact you to confirm your submission and get any additional information we need to upgrade your service.
We will help set up a DIRECTV account for you and ensure the correct equipment is purchased. While you are waiting for the equipment, you still have access to the community lineup.
Once we can confirm when the equipment will arrive, we will let you know and explain the installation process. When the equipment arrives, you will receive a set top box and a new remote. The remote control guide is available above listed under the upgrade option.
Once you’re TV service is upgraded, you can start watching and recording your favorite programs. Managing your recordings is listed above under the upgrade option.

When I move in to my apartment, how can I start watching TV?
We’ve tried to ease the move in process for you. Your apartment is equipped with a set top box and remote installed in your living room. To start enjoying your TV service, connect your TV to the TV service system following the installation instructions . For your bedroom, you will simply connect your TV to the wall outlet with a coax cable and complete a channel scan. If you want one remote control to adjust your TV power and volume, follow the program your remote instructions. Please do not discard your original TV remote.
How do I get one remote to control the set top box in my living room for my TV power and volume?
If you want one remote to control the TV power and volume as well as your set top box, follow the instructions to program the set top box remote to your TV. Be sure to keep your original TV remote in a safe place. If you have an upgraded service, follow the instructions listed under the Willow Pines Upgrade Options.
