We’ve designed the TV system with channels specific to your location. Upon moving in, follow the installation instructions detailed below to connect your TV. If you’re unable to get the channels on your TV after completing the installation instructions, a VSBB converter box helps connect older TVs.

Troubleshooting Tactics

Oftentimes, when your TV service is not working properly, it is a simple fix. To help speed up resolving the issue, please refer to the links below to see if there’s a solution: rebooting the equipment, completing a channel scan or correcting your TV. If you are unable to find the solution or the issue continues to persist, fill out the TV Service Form and we will diagnose the problem. We will determine a solution and step you through how to fix the problem or resolve it on our end.

Are you looking to record your favorite programs and watch them on your schedule? You can purchase a DVR and begin recording from the community channel lineup. You will have the option in recording a single program or a show series. Once you purchase a DVR, you will receive a set top box and a new remote control.

Are you looking for additional programming and the opportunity to record? You can purchase a DIRECTV channel package from the options listed below. Your entire apartment will be upgraded to the DIRECTV package. Upon purchase, you will receive a set top box and a new remote.

Service upgrade instructions

  1. When you’ve decided to upgrade and purchase a channel package or recording option, fill out the Service Upgrade form.

  2. Once you submit the Service Upgrade form, we will contact you to confirm your submission and get any additional information we need to upgrade your service.

  3. We will help set up a DIRECTV account for you and ensure the correct equipment is purchased.

  4. As soon as we can confirm when the equipment will arrive, we will schedule the installation. While you are waiting for the installation, you will still have access to the community lineup.

  5. When the equipment arrives, a set top box will be installed in your apartment along with a new remote. The remote control guide is available above listed under the upgrade option.

  6. Upon installation, we will make sure the equipment is installed properly and all the channels are coming in clearly. Once you’re TV service is upgraded, you can start watching and recording your favorite programs. Managing your recordings is listed above under the upgrade option.

When I move in to my apartment, how can I start watching TV?

We’ve tried to ease the move in process for you. Once you move in to your apartment, follow the installation instructions to connect your TV to the TV service. Use your original TV remote to access the community channels. You will simply connect your TV to the wall outlet with a coax cable and complete a channel scan.

How can I upgrade my TV service so I can record my favorite show series?

Detailed under the Stone River Upgrade Options, you will get a better idea of the overall upgrade process and more information regarding the upgrade options. Once you are ready to upgrade, fill out the Service Upgrade Form and we will contact you to make sure we have all the information needed to process the service upgrade.

How can I see my current channel lineup to see if I want to upgrade my TV service?

If you’re wanting to upgrade your TV service & purchase a different channel lineup, listed under the Stone River Upgrade Options in the DIRECTV Package Upgrade section, details the upgrade channel lineups we offer.
